The MEKTAL logo was designed in 1972, 15 years after the company was founded. In 1957, running a business in Poland was not formally possible, and the challenging post-war conditions hindered development. Initially, the company was part of a craftsmen's association, before becoming an independent entity under the name MEKTAL in 1972.
The logo design depicts a press symbolically "crushing" the word "MEKTAL." The press features distinctive arches that counterbalance the force of the bending arrow. The word "MEKTAL" derives from the founder's surname and the combination of the word "STAL," which references the company's core industry.
